How I love my flowers...

Happy Friday! I could not resist and make another Altenew flower card.....For this card I have used the Hibiscus set .  I inked up the flower part of the stamp with seedless preserve distress ink and the leaves with peeled paint. With a damp brush I softened the lines and coloured the leaves and flowers in, there was enough ink from the lines to do that. You get a soft watercolour look, I also splattered some ink on. The sentiment is Script from Brutus Monroe. As an accent I added some black dots and sequinces. Hope you like it! Till next time, Anja

New Kits

Good morning, everyone. I wanted to show you three new kits that I designed using the Prima Collection called "Love Clippings" and Kaisercraft's "P.S. I Love You" papers. The first one, I called "Memories" .

For this kit, I did some fussy cutting and added some mesh, flowers, and a butterfly from my stash.

The second one is called "Cherish" and for this one, I used the following products:

I used the Distress Collage Medium to cover the outside edges of each page and then stamped the "words" part of this stamp from 49 and Market (designed by Gabrielle Pollacco -- (my favourite designer). I also used a Tim Holtz marker and ink called "Victorian Velvet"

The final kit, I called "Our story is my favourite". This kit uses both Prima papers and Kaisercraft papers. Again, I did some fussy cutting and used the Post Card Stamp from Gabi's "Postcard from Paris" stamp set. I added some Prima flowers and a butterfly as well as the Diamond Die Cuts from Tim Holtz.

Hope you like them and have a great week.

Clarity Stencil Brushes- A How To….

What's funny about these brushes is that I was just searching the market for some stippling type brushes for my stencils. And of course I found them here- right at SGD! Clarity Stencil brushes can also be used for other things but they meet my stencil needs perfectly! If you wish to get in on this pre-order as well click here!
It helps the demo in the video has a British accent- I love me a good accent!

Enjoy the video!

Bamboo roses

Happy Friday! Oh, how I love Altenew stamps and they keep coming out with more.....
For this card I have used the Bamboo roses, coloured with Derwent Inktense pencils and then cut out.
I gave the flowers some shine by applying some clear Wink of Stella on them. The sentiment is from another set. The background was made with a stencil and some peeled paint distress ink and I added some sequins. Hope you like it! It sure was fun to make this card.
                                      Till next time, Anja
